Lovely Machine

The Lovely Machine was created during the robotic workshop at Time's Up in Linz, Austria. The initial idea was to make a locomotive machine out what we find on the streets, trash and bulky waste. What we found was an old washing machine. What we wanted was a unpredictable beahvior....
We disassembled the old washing machine and took away the heavy concrete on the top. Only the washing drum and the motor were interesting for us. Those we hung in a massive built frame with a spring. We added some little feet for walking. Powering the motor will turn the leftovers of the machin in our lovely machine. Inside the drum are two heavy weight to achieve a awkward and clumsy behaviour.
